The PROSAUNAS Self-Closing Solid Wood Sauna Door is a premium, prehung sauna door designed for precision installation, long-term durability, and superior insulation performance. Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this door combines solid wood construction with modern thermal technology to deliver exceptional quality and performance for residential and commercial sauna environments.

Each door is meticulously hand built from solid Douglas Fir at the PROSAUNAS Sauna Craft Center in Minnesota by skilled artisans and individually inspected to meet exacting standards. The door is prehung on a durable Hemlock jamb and header, selected for strength, stability, and long service life.

A large dual-pane, tempered clear glass window allows natural light to flood the sauna while providing excellent insulation. The LoE argon-filled glass minimizes heat transfer, helping maintain consistent sauna temperatures while enhancing the sense of openness and comfort within the space.

Designed for convenience and safety, this model features self-closing, matte black steel hinges with adjustable tension and an outward-swinging door design. Hinges are available in either left- or right-hand orientation to accommodate various layouts. Elegant vertical door handles—stainless steel on the exterior and Thermo-Aspen wood on the interior—provide reliable, comfortable access. The 36" wide door opening meets ADA compliance requirements, making it ideal for accessible sauna installations.

Note: For exterior applications, the door must be fully treated on all sides and edges to protect against weather exposure and ensure optimal performance.
