The sauna plugs into a dedicated 120 V / 20 AMP Outlet and Breaker (Not 220/240 V), (please consult a certified electrician for replacing a 15 amp dedicated receptacle to an approved 20 amp dedicated receptacle and 20 amp breaker). The Maxxus sauna may be installed on carpet and at any indoor location including the basement, garage, master bath or walk in closet. WHAT IS AN ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD (also known as EMF)?
An Electromagnetic Field is a physical field produced by electrically charged objects. It is one of the fundamental forces of nature. The field can be viewed as the combination of an electric field and a magnetic field. The electric field is produced by stationary charges and the magnetic field by moving charges referred to as currents. The magnetic field is measured in milligauss (mG). Our sauna products have been developed to have low EMF. Our Low EMF sauna models range between an average of 5mG-10mG at about two inches from the heater panel and our Ultra Low EMF sauna models range between 3mG-5mG at the same approximate distance.

"How do I get the sauna inside my house?"
The sauna will arrive in a few boxes but all our boxes are made to fit through standard-sized doorways (80" x 36"). Reference our Sauna Unpacking Video so you know what to expect.
"Is it complicated to assemble the sauna?"
The vast majority of our customer report the assembly processes to be easy and straight forward. While assembly does require a minimum of 2 people, generally speaking, most two person saunas can be assembled within 90 minutes. However, larger saunas include more pieces and do take more time. For your reference, we've provided several videos to display the sauna installation process.
